These photos were made primarily in places other than the United States. Because I find the people the most fascinating part of my travels, these photos, represent the merest glimpse of some of the people who live "There". It is my hope that I have represented their lives with freshness, awe, wonder and respect. And I hope that by sharing that which makes us all human our world becomes a little smaller and more civil.
